Rob Cole manages DBA's inspection and material testing services in Kingston, Ontario.

Raised in Picton Ontario, Rob has spent his entire career in south-eastern Ontario. He studied civil engineering at Queen's University and the University of Waterloo before joining the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario in 1970. Prior to joining DBA in 1997, he was for 15 years the general manager of another geotechnical firm in Kingston.

With over 32 years of experience in material and inspection testing services, Rob has conducted numerous geotechnical investigations, conducted forensic material failure studies, and carried out inspection and testing of asphalt, concrete, steel and aggregates on numerous pavement and building construction projects in the area.

Rob is a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering, Technicians & Technologists; the Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories; and the Canadian Standards Association. He also works on the

Technical Committee CAN/CSA B66-96 and the Ontario Stone Sand & Gravel Associations Specification Committee.
